While BASE COAT nail polish is free of the most toxic ingredients found in other nail polish, we do not want to mislead our customers into believing that our nail polishes are chemical-free. The reality is, in order for polish to stick to nails and adequately dry, it needs to have very necessary and certain chemical ingredients.

Unfortunately chemical free or toxic free personal care or beauty products do not exist. To avoid any chemicals in personal care or beauty products is to use nothing at all which we are also 100% behind if that is best for you but  as a small nail brand we will continue to provide the least toxic and safest products possible without compromising beauty or function for those who love beauty just as much as we do!
